The Grip 3.8 weighs in at just 470g with a pack size of 13x26cm (regular) and an R-value of 3.6, making it a great insulator for its weight. The low weight and size are achieved via first the hybrid foam zone construction, designed to support only the high-pressure areas, the body shape developed via studies of sleeping patterns cuts off all unnecessary weight, and the new and ultralight 20D Polyester Diamond Rip Stop shell offers a high strength to weight ratio.
