For Mikal, this trip is a clear mark of his interest in outdoor life. It’s in nature where he always finds space for reflection and relaxation. Getting out into nature, the fresh air and open skies, is a necessity to find peace and balance in daily life. For Mads, this will be his first encounter with an outdoor adventure that craves planning and quality gear that you can trust. He’s full of curiosity, he has done the proper planning and training – so we’re absolutely sure, that this will be his first of many future adventures.
The Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James) is a large network of ancient pilgrim routes stretching across Europe and coming together at the tomb of St. James (Santiago in Spanish) in Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain. Mikal and Mads have chosen the ‘Camino Francés route’ – 800 km of walking in five weeks.
